Amplify Experience Management LLC, together with our subsidiaries and affiliated companies – AmplifyXM, “we“, “our”, or “us”) uses certain monitoring and tracking technologies, such as cookies, beacons, pixels, tags, and scripts (collectively, “Tracking Technologies”). These Tracking Technologies are used in order to maintain, provide, and improve our website  https://www.amplifyxm.com (the “Website”) and services (collectively, the “Services”), and in order to provide our users with a better experience (for instance, in order to track users’ preferences, to better secure our Services, to identify technical issues, and to monitor and improve the overall performance of our Services).

This Cookie Policy (“Policy”) contains information on what Tracking Technologies are, the Tracking Technologies used on our Services, how to control Tracking Technologies, and some useful links for further reading on the subject. If this Policy does not provide the information you were looking for, or you have any further questions about the use of Tracking Technologies on our Services, please email hello@amplifyxm.com

This Policy constitutes an integral part of our Privacy Policy available here and incorporated hereto by reference.

Tracking Technologies are web monitoring and tracking technologies, such as cookies, beacons, pixels, tags, scripts and small files containing a string of characters that are stored through the browser on your computer or mobile device (for example, Google Chrome or Safari) when you visit a website. You can think of Tracking Technologies as providing a so-called memory for the website, so that it can recognize you when you come back and respond appropriately.

Tracking Technologies may be set by us (“First-Party Tracking Technologies“) or by third party providers who work with us (“Third-Party Tracking Technologies“), either for the duration of your visit (session Tracking Technologies) or for longer periods (persistent Tracking Technologies). The length of time a particular Tracking Technology stays on your device varies.

Which Tracking Technologies do we Use?

We store Tracking Technologies when you visit or access our Services (for example, when you purchase our Services, respond to communications from us, contact our support, communicate with us via email, website and through any online platform).

The main types of Tracking Technologies we use can be categorized as follows:

Strictly Necessary

Analytical cookies are used to understand how visitors interact with the website. These cookies help provide information on metrics such as the number of visitors, bounce rate, traffic source, etc.

Analytics

Our Websites use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”) that relies on Tracking Technologies. The information generated is usually sent to and stored on a Google server in the USA. On behalf of Amplify Experience Management LLC, Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activities, and provide additional services related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in connection with Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.

Further information about Google Analytics’ privacy practices can be found at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/. You can learn more about opting out of Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Performance

These Tracking Technologies collect information about your online activity (for example, the duration of your visit on our Services). They are used for performance purposes such as analysing, researching, and performing statistics (based on aggregated information).

Marketing and Advertising Tracking Technologies

These Tracking Technologies are used to deliver tailored offers and advertisements to you, based on your derived interests, as well as to perform email marketing campaigns. They can also be used to limit the number of times you see an advertisement as well as help measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign.

Others

Other cookies are those that are being identified and have not been classified into any category as yet.

Consent Preferences

Except for Strictly Necessary Tracking technologies, you can always withdraw your consent to the use of non-essential Tracking Technologies by re-opening the settings and modifying your selection.

Web Browsers and Do-Not-Track (DNT) Signals

Most browsers possess such features (usually located in the ‘options’ or ‘preferences’ menu of your browser), which will (depending on your browser settings) allow you to decide how to handle each new Tracking Technology in a variety of ways, provide you with the ability to delete all Tracking Technologies that are already on your computer and to prevent Tracking Technologies from being placed. You can also change your mobile device settings (e.g., iPhone, iPad, Android phones) to control whether you see online interest-based ads. Below is a list of useful links that can provide you with more information on how to manage your Tracking Technologies:

Any such changes may result in you having to manually adjust some preferences every time you visit a site and some services and functionalities may not work.

DNT signals are the result of a standardization initiative from 2009 to create a standard signal which could be broadcasted by any web browser, and read by any website operator, to note an individual’s preference not to be tracked online. While the working group assigned to this standardization initiative by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) was disbanded in 2019, the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) still requires website Publishers/operators to disclose whether they respond to web browsers’ “do not track” (DNT) signals.

Please note that our Website does not change its practices in response to a “Do Not Track” signal in the HTTP header from a browser, as unfortunately these are, from a technical perspective, not sufficiently reliable or standardized for us to warrant full adherence. To learn more about “Do Not Track” signals, you can visit http://www.allaboutdnt.com
